Who are we looking for?

. 1-2 years of experience in a financial environment. Exposure to Banking Operations, experience and knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, AML/CFT Act and best practices will be an added advantage.

. Bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance/economics/commerce from an HEC recognized institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance of UNSC and Targeted Financial Sanctions Regime;

Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with the UNSC and Targeted Financial Sanctions Regime, including screening activities, freezing/de-freezing actions, and adherence to Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.

Verify daily NACTA reconciliation and oversee watch list management and FCM Alerts generated through bulk scanning.

Analyze data to accurately identify Proscribed and Designated Persons/Entities.

Conduct periodic gap assessments on FCM and implement improvements as needed.

Review and enforce AML/CFT policies, procedures, and preventive controls.

Assess internal risk for ML/TF/PF, including Transnational TF risks.

Transaction Monitoring & Alert Management;

Conduct quality assurance reviews and gap assessments for alert generation in transaction monitoring rules, implementing necessary controls.

Ensure quality assurance of closed alerts.

Review and approve Transaction Monitoring Alerts escalated by AML Analysts for closure or potential reporting of STRs.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of STRs/CTRs to FMU via goAML, adhering to SBP regulations and the Bank’s KYC/AML/CFT Procedural Manual.

Perform periodic self-monitoring to mitigate potential penalty risks for KMBL.

Compliance of KYC/CDD Policy & Procedures;

Conduct quality assurance reviews and gap assessments for the KYC/AML Risk Profiling Model, ensuring updates align with changing ML/TF/PF risks.

Oversee periodic CDD reviews, ensuring completion based on thresholds.

Review and maintain records of rejected and closed accounts based on CDD/EDD for both management and regulatory purposes.

Monitor timely completion of periodic and trigger event CDD review activities.

Implement KYC/CDD recommendations to address issues identified during transaction monitoring.
